Sarah Omega Ajijola Esq is a graduate of the University of Maiduguri, Borno State where she was awarded a Law degree. She subsequently enrolled in the Nigerian Law School where she was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 11th of November 2005.  She is currently undergoing her LL.M Studies at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi

She practiced actively for four years in Kaduna with reputable law firms, a very diligent, passionate and hardworking lawyer. She joined the Nigerian Bar Association in 2008 as a liaison officer for the North West Zone. Her high standard and dexterous attitude to work led to her elevation to Assistant Director of Program which marked significant success in the NBA organized program where she initiated the current NBA Profile for the Association.

She has been involved in many revolutionary policies emanating from committees she has been part of. For instance, the 2016 Legal Profession Regulation Review Committee, the Editorial Board of the NBA, NBA Profiling of Lawyers and the 2018 NBA Constitutional Review Committee, 2018 Electoral Committee and has received giant accolades and commendations from the various committees she has been part of and some Branches of the Association. Her exploits, intelligence, expertise and professionalism from the Program Directorate led to her appointment as Assistant Director Membership and Bar Services (AKA Engine Room of the Association) the department is in charge of the stamp & seal, NBA Lawyers Database, NBA Affinity Cards and Insurance for lawyers.

She has spearheaded and innovated various policies that have made lawyers get value for their money which has bought smiles to lawyers and has given the Association a face lift. She has ever since become a trail blazer at the secretariat.

Currently, she heads the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NBA- ICLE) and ensures continuous professional development to its members. She delivers on quality assurance of CLE projects and implements the Nigerian Bar Association Institute of Continuing Legal Education programmes through its Branches, Sections/Fora and Accredited Service Providers. She is a hardworking professional with a practical hand- on approach who always achieve the best result.

Excellent management/administration skills and problem-solving skills, proven ability to manage and complete projects and organizational goals to the highest standard, with a meticulous attention to details and delivers result within agreed deadline.

With fifteen (15) years’ experience, Sarah is a Team player and sits on the Management of several top meetings. She is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, and a member of the International Bar Association.
